I don't understand how and when it became more appropriate to tell a whole group of people that they need to be careful about how loud they talk rather than just talking to the person.
That was the best example I could think of.
I sat in a meeting yesterday where someone was complaining about how his emails were handled by other people. Turns out I was one of the other people. I would much prefer that some talk to me about something I am doing wrong rather than using generalizations.
Is it something to do with taking accountability?
Do I really care about this?
